UC Libraries

UC Libraries Network was created to be a source of knowledge to the correct development of research and training of our doctoral students.

 


Our library network is wide and spread all over the campuses of Santiago and Villarrica and the medical centers belonging to the UC School of Medicine of Pontificia Universidad Católica of Chile.

There is a total of 10 libraries available, located at the following campuses:

  • San Joaquín Campus: San Joaquín Libraries, Humanities, Gauss and Theology.
  • Main Office: Libraries of Communications and Law, and Biomedical.
  • Lo Contador: Library of Lo Contador.
  • Oriente Campus: Oriente Library.
  • Villarrica Campus: Gabriela Mistral Library.
  • Medical centers: Sótero del Río Hospital and La Florida Hospital.

UC Libraries are available to all undergraduate and graduate students. Some of the services of the network are:

  • Borrowing and renewing of books, magazines and audiovisual resources.
  • Reserving study rooms.
  • Laptops rental.
  • Research workshops.
  • Online chatting with librarians.
  • Digital Catalog.
  • Computers and software for students with special needs.
  • Theme guides.
  • Film Screenings and more.

Graduate School

The Graduate School has the mission of ensuring the strategic and comprehensive development of the University's doctoral training. We contribute to the design and implementation of policies and mechanisms that, together with academic units, ensure the quality of UC doctoral programs, and promote the training of autonomous and excellent researchers and researchers.
