Visiting professors to thesis 1_2020

Objective

This call seeks to: – Enrich the training of doctoral students, through the participation of internationally renowned professors in their Candidacy Exam or Thesis Defense – Strengthen Doctorate research and teaching, through the interaction of UC academics with foreign researchers of recognized trajectory.

Requirements

• The application must be made by a doctoral thesis student, but sponsored by their Thesis Director, of the corresponding Doctorate Program, and with the support of the Postgraduate Directorate of their Academic Unit.
• The visiting professor must have an internationally recognized career as a researcher in the discipline of the respective Doctoral Program.
• The visiting professor must have a duration of at least 2 business days, with effective activities.
• The visit program must contemplate the minimum activities detailed in the bases.

Benefit

Financing for a maximum of $ 1,000,000.- (one million pesos) destined to travel expenses and/or stay of the visiting professor.
