Objective

This call seeks to support the organization of meetings of researchers on disciplinary or interdisciplinary issues, through seminars, symposiums, workshops, or similar that are organized by teams of doctoral students from our University and take place between April 1 and December 31, 2020. Exceptionally and considering the available budget, proposals that have a date other than that indicated in these bases may be evaluated.

Requirements

  • Be a regular student of a UC Doctorate program.
  • Have a good academic performance and have completed at least one semester in the doctoral program to accredit a good performance (PPA).
  • Each project must consider the participation of researchers of recognized academic prestige and, at least one of them must be an international guest.
  • The team of organizers presenting the project must be made up of at least two regular UC doctoral students; They can be from the same discipline or a different one that is relevant to the project to be presented. Among others.

Benefit

The applications that meet the requirements and present all the requested documentation, may be eligible for funding for the organization and holding of an international meeting of researchers. To this end, a maximum of $ 2,000,000.- (two million pesos) will be awarded to the awarded projects.

An additional incentive of $ 500,000.- (five hundred thousand pesos) is also offered for those activities that have a demonstrable interdisciplinary nature.
