Residence Benefit Assignment (AVG) 2nd semester 2020 due to Covid-19 health emergency

Objective

From the Graduate School of the Vice-Rector’s Office for Research, we are aware of the impact it is having on the progress of doctoral students’ research, the social outbreak of October 2019, and the Covid-19 pandemic during 2020. Therefore, we have defined this new call as a process of requesting the benefit with special and transitory flexibility measures, which allow all students who require it, including those with more than 10 semesters of permanence, access the residence benefit to the second half of 2020.

In the same way, we recommend that all students, regardless of whether they have a scheduled date to defend their thesis in the next three months, apply for the benefit. The foregoing in order to remain active in the University systems and not fall into the “Not Current – Abandonment of Studies” status that occurs at the end of each semester.
