Extraordinary Process Support for Doctoral Thesis Term 2021


Objective

The Graduate School of the Vice-rectory for Research (VRI), in an extraordinary process, and making a significant financial effort, opens a special process for the academic period 2021 in order to partially support doctoral students for the term of their doctoral thesis.

Requirements

For ANID grant students:

  • Be a regular Ph.D. student and be in the 9th semester of their studies in the first semester of 2021.
  • Have had the ANID scholarship until last semester (2-2020).
  • Have applied and proved not to have obtained the complimentary benefit of extension of your scholarship in the “First call for the Request for Complementary Benefits 2021”.

For VRI grant students:

  • Be a regular Ph.D. student and be in the 9th semester of their studies in the first semester of 2021.
  • Have been VRI scholarship recipients until last semester (2-2020).

Profits

  • Fee Release: 100% exemption from the payment of the annual fee for the Doctorate program that the student will study.
  • A monthly allowance of $ 200,000.- for a maximum of 6 months ($ 1,200,000.-), from March to August 2021.
