Co-tutoring abroad 1_2020


Objective

To offer doctoral students the opportunity to carry out a co-tutoring stay, obtaining a double degree, during the development of their thesis projects at universities of recognized international prestige.

Requirements

  • Be a regular student of a UC doctoral program.
  • Be a candidate for a doctorate and have the candidacy examination and thesis project approved at the time of application.
  • Be studying, at most, the 6th. semester of their Doctorate studies, at the time of starting the Joint Tutelage.
  • Accredit a good academic record.
  • Prove the existence of a specific agreement with the foreign institution where the Joint Guardianship will be carried out.
  • Have the support of their respective Head of the Doctoral Program.
  • Prove command of the language in which the stay will be made, as required by the destination institution.

Profits

  • An allowance of USD $ 800, for the period of the stay (6 to 12 months).
  • A round-trip air ticket in economy class, from Santiago to the destination city abroad, for a maximum of USD $ 1,500.
  • Payment of health insurance, for a maximum annual amount of USD $ 800.
  • One-time financing for a maximum amount of $ 1,000,000 CLP.
