In addition, the university maintains sustained leadership in funding, having received the highest number of ANID scholarship awards for the eleventh consecutive year, enabling more than 90% of its doctoral students to pursue their studies with full funding. Currently, the doctoral program has 1,478 students, comprising 42% women and 58% men, as well as 25% international students; a community that reflects the institution’s global character, supported by 162 dual-degree co-supervision agreements established over the past decade and new partnerships in 2025 with world-class universities.
