Objective

The objective of this initiative is to recognize and stimulate the research carried out by the students of the different doctoral programs that put their discipline in dialogue with the Christian faith, through the completion of theses that contribute significantly to the mission of the university to evangelize. culture.

Requirements

All students of UC doctoral programs can participate, who are about to start their doctoral thesis, or with a maximum permanence in the program of up to 6 semesters. For the above, you must attach the certificate of approval of your candidacy examination and thesis project, or failing that, a certificate that supports that said exam will be given soon. At the time of the decision, the student must have approved.

Benefits

1. A single and total amount of $ 500,000 will be assigned to each winner by area.
2. A short article about his completed work will be published on pastoral.uc.cl and on doctorados.uc.cl. In addition, the possibility of presenting your project in the Dialogues magazine.
3. Winners will be eligible for the “Cardinal Newman Award”, which will be presented at the Annual Doctorate Ceremony. This recognition consists of an additional award of a single and a total amount of $ 500,000.
