UC has a distinguished and ample academic faculty, from which doctorate professors are chosen to be part of doctoral cloisters.
Cloisters are composed by some of the most outstanding members of the academic body, whose work developing successful lines of research and doctorate degrees have merited their participation.
Due to the high-ranked quality of our academic body, professors who belong to a cloister can also be appointed as Dissertation Advisors for students and, at the same time, continue their lines of research, contributing to expand knowledge in the research lines established by the doctoral program.
