Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate in Theology from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. He studies Christianity, mainly Alexandrian Christianity, from the third century. He specializes in the origins and use of metaphors related to eating and drinking in theological contexts, as well as the role of food in the development of identities in early Christianity. He occasionally explores the relationship between cinema and theology in his teaching.
