Information for International Students

Settling in a new country and being away from family and friends is a great challenge. That is why UC, in its effort to guide and help its students, developed a welcome guide especially dedicated to international doctoral students.

Information for International Students

The application process for foreign students will be the same as for the rest of our applicants. However, there is additional information International Students must consider:

  • You must have an academic degree of Bachelor (or equivalent) and/or a Master’s. In case of having academic degrees of foreign origin, they must be equivalent to those recognized by the current International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED-UNESCO).
  • Foreign certificates must be legalized by the Chilean Consulate in the country of origin.

Applicants should keep in mind that each doctoral program has its own admission process and application calendar, which can be consulted directly on the website of each program. However, not all our programs have online applications platforms.

Once your application is approved, you will need to complete the admission process by following the indicated steps and submitting the required documentation.
